The images below were taken from a 30 minute documentary by independent filmmaker John Bertucci on the "Walk to the Park" events organized by Friends of Lafferty Park in the winter and spring of 2002.

FLP is making videotape copies of these films available at our cost of $15.

Four miles out, approximately 100 walkers spread out along Adobe Road.

 

Six miles out, Sonoma Mountain Road gets steep. But,what a view of the Petaluma valley in the background!

 

Seven miles out, the walkers bring out the fife and drum as they approach the Lafferty gate. County Sheriff's deputies are there in force to meet them.

Eyes on the prize. The sun breaks through the clouds to highlight a ridge above the Adobe Creek canyon on the Lafferty property -- publicly-owned, but off-limits to the public.
