The Weepeep's Valley

Drop cap From time to time the Weepeeps would pause from their daily toil and gaze up at the splendid mountain. Now and then a Weepeep child would ask, "Can we go up on the great mountain and enjoy its fields, forests and streams?"

The Weepeep parents would glance about nervously, fearing the giant might have overheard. Then they would answer sadly that the great mountain belonged to the ferocious giant Sloggrr and his cohort of giant mountain henchmen. Weepeeps were strictly forbidden to go near the great mountain. To climb the great mountain, even to ask about it, would surely incur the wrath of Sloggrr.
